Description
Aquamarine, also known as Neelamani in Sanskrit, got its name from its resemblance to seawater. In ancient times, it was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and sailors used it as a talisman for protection and good luck at sea. Romans called it the “water of the sea” and used it for safe travels. It is also used for meditation and to overcome fears, including fear of public speaking.
